Do my customers need to install anything or make an account?
No. They tap your link and start browsing and chatting. If they want to save the chat or get notified when you reply, they can sign in with Google in one tap.
Do I need WhatsApp Business?
No, but it helps: the WhatsApp Business app has an away message and greeting message where your store link works great. The normal WhatsApp app works too, through your status and bio.
What if the AI doesn’t know the answer?
It tells the customer it’s checking with you and alerts you. Open the chat, reply from Zel Assist, and the AI steps aside until you hand it back.
How does payment checking work?
You connect your Paystack account once. A buyer pays your Paystack link and enters the payment reference; Zel Assist confirms it with Paystack and marks the order paid. It checks the amount and that the payment is new, so old receipts can’t be reused. This is optional.
Is it safe to connect my Paystack key?
Your key is stored encrypted and used only to look up payments. It’s optional, you can remove it any time, and you can roll the key on Paystack whenever you like. Only connect it if you’re comfortable with that.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts. Your store link keeps working for browsing; the AI employee needs an active plan.
